Amazon's federal lobbying for the second quarter of 2025 totals $5,665,000, according to Lobbying Disclosure Act filings with amendments applied. The same quarter a year earlier came to $5,760,000.

In-house lobbying accounts for $4,460,000. Amazon.com Services LLC filed that report on July 22, 2025.

Outside firms were paid $1,205,000 across the remaining filings, 24 reports in all. Three firms each reported $80,000 from Amazon: Tarplin, Downs & Young, Capitol Tax Partners and Monument Advocacy. The Duberstein Group reported $75,000. Holland & Knight and PRASAM each reported $20,000, the lowest amounts in the set.

Several filings name Amazon Web Services as the client. American Defense International, Mindset Advocacy and Aquia Group each reported $50,000 from AWS. Capitol Venture reported $30,000 and PRASAM $20,000. One filing, from Chartwell Strategy Group, lists the client as FRA Pillpack, an Amazon company, at $40,000.

The filings went up between July 11 and July 23, 2025.

The totals are a floor. Lobbying done by trade associations on a company's behalf is not attributed to that company.

The math is in the filing.
