Accepts $1.75 million TxDOT STEP traffic enforcement grant for SAPD

Authorizes acceptance of a Texas Department of Transportation STEP grant of up to $1,750,000 for October 1, 2026 to September 30, 2027, funding overtime traffic enforcement for speeding, occupant protection, distracted driving and intersection violations. Requires a cash match of up to $265,000 from the General Fund and an in-kind match of $192,619. (Placed on the consent agenda.)
