Thursday Cooler Check and Other Mercies

Bless your heart, the Egg Salad Sandwiches, Dill and Celery, came out of the walk-in this morning and somebody thought they could sit on the pass for an hour. Not in my kitchen. Egg salad goes back in the cooler the minute it's made, and anything out at room temperature past two hours gets thrown away, no sob story allowed.

I have also noticed the Cornbread Dressing, Sage and Celery, is being tasted with a spoon that has already been in the coffee. Wash your hands. Then wash them again. The Cinnamon Apple Chips are fine, and the Pecan Pie Bars, Crust Included, are a mercy I will allow. Thursday ought to be orderly. I expect it to be.
